Reflexology

Full session approx 45 minutes (appointment time 60 minutes)

 

Reflexology is a holistic therapy that has been practice for years. Reflexology stimulates the body's natural healing processes with pressure being applied to certain points in the hands, feet or ears. It helps to improve wellbeing and relaxation.

Each pressure point on the extremity correspond to the organs of the body helping you to feel more relaxed.

This therapy enhances circulation, delivers oxygen and nutrients to tissues and removes waste products.

Reflexology improves sleep by targeting pressure points linked to the nervous system which help regulate the production of melatonin.  

Reflexology can alleviate feelings of anxiety and depression offering a holistic approach to emotional healing.  

 

Massage

Book a full body or target area massage, 30minute to an hour.

1 hour appointment (includes consultation) this treatment offers general Physiological and Psychological benefits. It can release joint restrictions and increase joint mobility., reduce ischaemia and ease localised pain and tissue dysfunction. It increases sebum production which improves the skins suppleness and resistance to infection. 

 

 

 

Hand and foot massage 

 

Included is a foot soak for 10 minutes followed by a 20 minute massage 

 

Indian head massage

30 minute head massage including consultation, head, face neck and shoulder massage. This will help to relieve any stress and cranial discomfort. The treatments aims to balance and renew energy levels. 

 

Vitamin B 12 injections

​

B12 is a natural complex vitamin. B12 helps the body make DNA, nerve and blood cells and is crucial for a healthy brain and immune system.

 

Your body doesn't make vitamin B12 on its own. You have to consume food and drinks that have vitamin B12 in order to get it. Vitamin B12 is found in animal products you eat and drink, like meat, dairy and eggs. It can also be found in fortified foods (foods that have certain vitamins and nutrients added to them) such as certain cereals, bread and nutritional yeast.

Signs of B12 deficiency can be brain fog, tiredness, pale skin, bowels problems, rapid heart rate. If any severe symptoms please do speak to your GP.

 

People with poor diet and digestion often do not absorb enough B12.

Body detox

So how do you detox?  

Popular diets promise to flush toxins out of your body, cleanse the skin and boost your immune system. There is no evidence to support this. Calorie restrictions can cause headaches, tiredness, irritability and aches and pains.  

Colonic irrigation therapy is designed to help remove toxins from the bowel; it can be uncomfortable and costly and has been known to be harmful in some cases. The body absorbs salts and water (to maintain a fluid and electrolyte balance) through the colon which can be disrupted through bowel cleansing. Overuse of this treatment can lead to anaemia, malnutrition and heart failure.

Body detox therapy is a solution for effective detoxification which can help the body detoxify itself at a cellular level. It works on the whole-body system. This treatment can be used to help combat toxin build up in the body. 

 

Ear wax removal

If you have developed hearing loss and believe this is due to a wax build up you can book an appointment for a health assessment.

Your hearing and ear health is important as hearing loss can be an early risk factor for dementia. If you do not have a wax build up make sure you have regular hearing check ups. Any pain or abnormal symptoms should be referred to your GP.

Full ear health check appointment. You will be offered a closer inspection of the ear and will be able to view the ear canal with your clinician.

If you know you have a wax build up please book a different appointment with us for either microsuction or irrigation. Pleases use Earol/olive oil at least 3 days prior to the appointment to avoid disappointment.

 

Gentle ear wax removal with irrigation techniques or gentle suction for the removal of ear wax. There is no guarantee of improved hearing once the ear wax is removed, you may require further examination if there is no change.

Cryotherapy

Please ensure all suspicious lesions have been reviewed by a GP prior to booking. If you have a lesion that is greater than 1/4 of an inch, more than one colour, asymmetrical, irregular border, bleeding or changing in size shape or colour please book an urgent GP appointment or send me a message with pictures so I can advise. 

Cryotherapy is a non invasive treatment for the removal of unwanted lesions. Non-pigmented lesions cannot be removed by us.
